Statement on the “No Kings” Protest and the Contrast with Patriotic Flag Day Celebrations

While I had the honor of attending patriotic Flag Day ceremonies across our district — including in Mt. Kisco, Bedford Hills, and North Salem — the Democrat Party once again showed its true colors. While residents, veterans, and community leaders came together to celebrate the symbol of our nation’s unity, sacrifice, and freedom, Democrats were busy dressing up as clowns and staging yet another divisive protest under the banner of “No Kings.”

Let me be clear: this was not a demonstration of principle, but a performance of disunity, disrespect, and chaos. I witnessed firsthand the shameful actions of Democrat activists attempting to disrupt the solemn Flag Day ceremony at the Mt. Kisco American Legion by holding upside down American flags — a disgraceful act that dishonors those who have served and sacrificed for our flag.

While Republicans and Conservatives gathered with our communities to uplift and honor our shared values, Democrats chose mockery and division. The contrast could not be more stark.

But this behavior should come as no surprise. Division has been a consistent strategy of the Democrat Party throughout American history. It was the Democrat Party that defended slavery and led this nation into civil war. It was the Democrat Party that enforced segregationist policies and fought against civil rights at every turn. And today, it is the Democrat Party that continues to pit Americans against each other — urban against rural, race against race, class against class — all in the name of political power.

The Republican and Conservative Party’s stands for unity, strength, and the enduring promise of the American flag. We believe in one nation under God — not a nation torn apart by theatrics and political stunts.

As I stood shoulder to shoulder with proud Americans this Flag Day, I was reminded of the strength and resolve of our communities. The American people are waking up to the games and the damage caused by today’s radical Democrats. We will continue to stand tall, honor our history, and fight for a future grounded in faith, family, and freedom.
