About Braille

Priorities

Affordability / Fighting Inflation

Provide relief for oppressive inflation, reduce high utility bills, and cut taxes. Cap annual increases in State spending, cut burdensome regulations, and reduce the size of government. Provide tax relief for families with young children; increase childcare availability and flexibility.

Common Sense, NY-Based Healthcare

Work together with nearby states to create a regional health insurance marketplace to increase options for New Yorkers. Enhance outreach and expand opportunities to get more New Yorkers insured. Allow New Yorkers to save for health costs through a New York Health Savings Program.

Holding Criminals Accountable

Keep criminals off the street by fixing our broken bail and discovery laws. Reform our parole system – authorize judges to use discretion when making bail decisions. Provide support for substance abuse treatment services; hold drug dealers accountable.

Additional Issues

Paramedics
Volunteer Fire and EMS

Attract / retain volunteer first responders with tuition forgiveness plans, provide college credits, and increasing early-on training opportunities. Punish targeting first responders with violence / harassment; protect volunteer fire/EMS from fentanyl exposure.

train
Ride Safe, Ride Secure

Ensure our public transportation systems are safe by enhancing penalties, increasing law enforcement presence on public transit, and creating funding opportunities to increase transit protections.

work
Work Force Development

Strengthen/expand NYS youth training programs; ensure certified apprenticeship
programs receive needed support. Create State-supported local sector partnerships to create a pipeline of prepared workers in every region of New York State.

“I’m running to ensure our families have safe streets, Westchester remains affordable to live and raise a family, our small businesses have room to grow, and our most vulnerable neighbors have a pathway to stability, all while guarding taxpayers from waste and defending the values that make Northern Westchester home.”
